A new Heat Illness Prevention in Indoor Places of Employment standard has passed effective July 23, 2024.
Like the general and required Illness and Injury Prevention Program (IIPP) and Outdoor HIPP, the Indoor Heat Illness Prevention Plan (IHIPP) must be a written plan, have a training component that includes active participation, and requires extensive recordkeeping.
